Samuel Yombich Pilot-Kickett is a Whadjuk/Baladong man, a performer and spray paint artist with several pieces exhibited in Norway and Spain. Samuel studied Acting at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts where he graduated in 2003. Since then, he has featured in a number of government adverts and community campaigns, films and shows that have used or incorporated Aboriginal culture including Firebite directed by Warrick Thornton. More recently, Sam was a dancer/didjeridoo player for the ANZAC Day Memorial in 2018 and performed at the Fremantle Welcome to Country in 2019. For Perth Festival, Sam played didjeridoo/yidaki for the Giants in 2015.
