Galup VR Experience Study Guide
Produced by ATOM & Same Drum in collaboration with Paulette Gittins, Poppy van Oorde-Grainger, Bec Garlett, Glenda Kickett, Ian Wilkes, Lois May, Ted Wilkes and Bec Allen. This study guide is designed to accompany the virtual reality film Galup VR Experience and/or the documentary The Making of Galup VR Experience. Activities are for suitable for students in years 8 - 12 studying but can be adapted for all ages, and each activity links directly to the Australian Curriculum.
Akolkol Dastan Gesa Evaluation
Between 2017 and 2018, Same Drum partnered with Aranmore Catholic College’s Intensive English Centre to produce a community arts project for young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. The project engage students in song writing, beat-making, dance, performance, film and publishing a music video. The project was externally evaluated to assess how the project met objectives around empowering young people – a main goal of the project.
