Jemma King is a nyidiyang yok (non-Aboriginal woman), living on Whadjuk Noongar country of the Bibbulmun Nation, Western Australia. With a profound respect for country and culture, Jemma has worked alongside First Nations Peoples on many projects.Trained as an educator and an audio engineer, Jemma began her career at ABC Perth. She has since dedicated much of her career to culturally collaborative projects including community oral history projects, truth-telling forums and TV documentaries. Jemma also tutors tertiary students producing Noongar Dandjoo TV. At the heart of every project there is a foundation of trust and a sincere connection with participants, so that an authentic platform is provided for truths to be told.
